Few places so close to Melbourne offer such diversity and natural beauty. Anglesea Heath is the richest and most diverse vegetation community in Victoria. About a quarter of Victoria’s plant species can be found here including over 80 different types of orchids. Spring time is particularly spectacular as the heathland erupts into a sea of vibrant colour.

Just as abundant is the wildlife, with 29 mammal species and over 100 bird species thriving here.
